Arena official: American Airlines Center won’t need required 6 weeks to prepare 2016 Republican National Convention

Those behind the push for Dallas to host the 2016 Republican National Convention have said American Airlines Center would be the primary convention site. Dave Brown, executive vice president and general manager of the arena, is among those expected to travel to Washington to present the city’s bid Monday.
